Hello, Salam, Salut, Olá and Bonjo’ to all our lovely Parents and Carers,

We are back every month with new news, gossips and upcoming event to share with you and put a smile on your face.

Can you believe it this year went with a glimpse and we nearly coming to the end of the month we have started to prepare for our Christmas events.

What have our children been learning during at Golden Star Nursery?

Baby Room- The children have had a wonderful time this month exploring colours and textures using a number of different resources. They have used their hands and feet to explore different senses to create images. The children have been exploring role play with boxes, they all created little houses and cars in our role play area and played together with their peers.

Toddlers Room- Our toddlers have been learning how to explore different quantities of ingredients, when baking cakes and savoury foods for their families and peers. Throughout last month our children have been talking about birthdays and celebrations that are important to them, helping our children to show care for others. To further enhance our children’s interest, they have been creating their own birthday air balloons using paper mache, developing our children’s imagination and creative skills

Pre-school- Our pre-school children have shown a great interest in their September topic’ me and my family, where they visited different to see different material houses, discussed about family members they have in home and off course looked at mummy and daddy photo to replicate their classroom family tree. Throughout these experiences our children and practitioners extended these activities into the garden, building their own houses with large bricks and natural resources, learning about teamwork, sharing with others and shapes, space and measuring. Our Pre-schoolers have been exploring their new dolls house and equipment, creating their own role play characters and stories. Throughout October our children will be making animal masks and learning about the different countries these animals originate from. Our children will also be creating animal stone stories and puppets.

New Starters

We had a number of children join us this month and would like to welcome them with open arms and they are; Tara, Sally and Emanuel and many more to come!!

Employee of the Month

Congratulations to Ikra for all her hard work, helping new children settle into the Toddler room, having a lovely relationship with her key children and parents, for always being so friendly and helping others and for leading a great team member.

New Nursery Staff – Rayyan joins us!

We would like welcome our new staff member Rayyan, who joined us this month, she is very passionate, caring, reliable and she already settled into the nursery so please do welcome her!
